Day 4 My Best Friend.

Since day 3 is lame (Your idea of a perfect date) and I don't feel like answering such a "miss america-pagenty" question i'm skipping to day 4!
Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend. 
well. who has ONE best friend!? I mean I SHOULD say "oh my husband!!"but (if you've read my blog in the past) you know that I am still REALLY close to ALL of my high school friends still and I NEED them in my life. I MUST have a social life or I just don't do well! I start to crash. So instead of my best friend i'm gonna do my best FRIENDS!


Nate & Malorie!

I met Natey when I was 16 and we've been inseparable ever since! He is the SWEETEST, most giving person i've ever met and would jump in front of a train for anyone! We've had a lot of fun and hard times together and he is by far the person I am most like in this world. My parents LOVE when he comes over because he is an amazing (self taught) piano player and everyone will congregate in the living room just to listen.
Malorie married Nate last winter! They met at BYU and I was lucky enough to attend/ shoot their wedding in alabama. I never thought I'd like the girl Nate married because there was no girl good enough for him but thats because I hadn't met malorie yet! She is just like him in everyway and we have LOVED having her in our group of friends!

Jamie!
Jamie and I met in kindergarten and haven't stopped being friends ever since! We've both moved to new areas and we stayed friends! This picture is perfect for her, she's crazy funny and VERY colorful! She also just got back from her mission and is an awesome example to me.

Squid!
We've been friends since the 7th grade. She was trying to leave class and someone pushed her over and she landed right on top of my desk! it was destiny! I admire her most for her free spirit! She knows JUST who she is and shows it! 

Molly!
while the rest of us hit the books Molly chased her dream of professional dancing and got it! She has been dancing for 4 years on Odessy! This summer she came down to St.G and did Tarzan and Cats! She also goes to San Fran to do Ballet every summer and tours Europe once a year! She is so talented and SUCH a good friend! Molly was also my Maid of Honor and I could NOT have done my wedding with out her! I have a deep love for this girl. 

Tyson..
oh where to begin with tyson :) we've been through a lot together and it's been a party the whole way! Tyson is in my top 2 list of favorite people to talk to. He's an example to me in the gospel and is all around the most amazing boy. (and single ladies) (which i'm still not sure HOW he's still single?) Ty is a "toy" loving guy who I swear breaks his jet ski's or 4 -wheeler on purpose JUST so he can fix it again. For someone so strong in the church i've never met someone who gets in trouble with the police more either?...

Matty Poo
I met Matt in the 9th grade at a football game (he was pickin up on ALL the ladies :) Matt is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. He's almost OVERLY honest and hilarious! He can brighten anyones day just by being around you. I'm so proud of him for serving a mission and becoming the guy he has become :)

Katie
She is our Amazon Woman :) she's the most outdoorsy person probably living and every summer she is a river guide in moab (she usually comes home with some form of dredlocks and chaco tan lines that don't fade till Januray!) We met in the 9th grade and she used to make fun of me cause I was shorter than her (she's around 5'5") We have had way too many adventures together and hopefully will have plenty more.

CJ
He is crazy funny and always the life of the party! He does an improv comedy show in Provo called LOL and from what I hear is really good at it. He is always up for a good time and loves boating! He's a goof ball but can also mellow down and have some great talks! He always has some witty comment that just cracks me up!

Garrett
We've been friends since I was 17 and he is the friend that everyone needs to have. He doesn't sugar coat ANYTHING and will give it to you straight (which i've definitely needed on more than one occasion). He is really fun and caring and a really good time! He too will do anything for anyone especially his family and loves to do crazy sports with his dad (180 mile bike rides, 80 mile hikes, to list a few) Garrett is NOT a fan of anything trendy (texting, facebook, etc.) which is why the only pic of  him I could really find he kinda looks silly in :)

My Brandon
He is all of my friends rolled up into one and makes it bearable to live so far away from all these wonderful people. He's fun and crazy but can be mellow and caring too. He's got a great sense of humor and is understanding and forgiving. I love how excited he is to be a dad and to have kids in our life. I love him more than anything and can't wait for years of more adventures.

Day 2/ Launch Party / Grad Present / Ryan

Day 2! 

-Tell us about your job-

I'm actually REALLY excited about this post because I realized I can squeeze 3 posts that I've been DYING to do into 1 big glorious post! So hold on to your seats people it's gonna be CARAZAY!

First off to tell you about my work. I quit my job so I could work full time in my studio and I am LOVING it! I've gotten all caught up on my editing and posts and I've been booking sessions left and right!  I've been working really hard and advertising lots aaaaand i got a website!!! TA DA! So consider this my website launch party! (any office fans in the house? ha ha ha) and you are all invited to the ribbon cutting!!

post 2

My work has been really hard lately because my laptop is on it's LAST life. It's old and full and SOOO slow! I can't photoshop on it because it's not color corrected and it makes me craaazy! So how does she run her own business from her home with such a crappy computer you ask!?!?  With her new desktop Imac!!

 My AMAZING husband and my AMAZING parents and my AMAZING in-laws all chipped in and got it for me for my birthday/graduation present! With the help of my good friend Matt we got a KILLER deal on it and now I can't seem to stay off of it!! It's so fast and so huge and so glorious!! and as you can see we may need a bigger desk now :)

3rd post 

and this has nothing to do with my job but I wanted to brag about my brother Ryan!! 

Ryan left on his mission to Cambodia last february and decided to come home for a little bit, REALLY prepare and then go back out later. Now as you know a good percent of missionaries that come home never ACTUALLY make it back out into the field but Ryan has done amazingly! He has grown so much this year and has changed in the best ways! We can really feel a more spiritual presence in him and I am so proud of him! Ryan turned back in his mission papers a few weeks ago and last night the Stake President came over and told him that his call had come back and the Lord wants him back in Cambodia!! yahoo!! Then he said that they don't send missionaries to Cambodia very often and that the next time they are leaving is either March 30th or tomorrow!! (which is today) The stake pres. said he could set him apart right now and he could go to the MTC in the morning and after thinking about it with my family they decided that even though march was too long to wait, tomorrow was too short of notice so Ryan will report back to the MTC in late March!! I am so proud of him i'm really just bursting at the seams about it so I had to share :)

18 Weeks

This week Im 18 weeks along! I have a ton of people asking me how Im doing, If I'm sick, If I sleep alright so I think i'll just write a post about it so everyone feels up to date :)

- I haven't been sick at all! My stomach gets all bloated and rolly at night which makes getting comfortable hard but I have had very little to complain about.

- Smells like Teriyaki flavored meats make me gag a little? Random?

- I LOVE cheese! anything cheese! Mac and Cheese, cheese sticks, cheese ball, nachos, quesadillas, grilled cheese!

- I have random spirts of food cravings. example: my friend the other day said something about having a dozen of  something and I craved doughnuts for the REST of the day!

-I get hungry every 45 minutes! It's crazy! I'll go out to dinner and get really really full and by the time I get home I want a bowl of cereal!

- My back is KILLING me! I thought that was something that didn't come along until later but I am dyin! and whats worse is theres nothing I can do about! I would love to get  a backrub but I'm assuming laying on your stomach and then having someone puts lots of pressure on your back isn't very good?...

- I haven't been sleeping very well but i'm sure thats only going to get worse as I get bigger.

- speaking of getting big I'm already HUGE! I know a few girls who are all pregnant, some are 2-4 weeks ahead of me and others are 1-2 weeks behind me and i'm bigger than ALL of them! People keep teasing me about twins and at first it was like "ha ha" but now it's kinda scaring me! My dr. says i'm at a healthy size and we've heard the heartbeat (one) and had an ultrasound (again one) but i'm still kinda stressin!

- I never thought i'd be the "horrible pregnant wife" because i've never been very emotional before but my hormones are CARAZAY! The other day Brandon and I were talking about Masters Programs and what states they are in and I felt like crying?! I didn't, but it was weird? Also, things annoy me and offend me SO EASY now!! I take everything personal!

- I can't make it through the night with out needing to pee at least once

- I have been feeling the baby a lot lately. It doesn't feel like a baby yet but like popcorn popping in my stomach. He/She moves a TON after I eat ice cream! (mostly sherbert)

- I am tired ALL THE TIME! I get tired around 10 and need a nap half way through the day! I'm out of breath all the time! Whenever I get to class people make fun of me because i'm huffing and puffing!

- heartburn is THE WORST! I get it all the time! I've never had it before but it is miserable! It makes my ribs sore! (luckily for me) the only remedy for it is Ice cream :)

It asks for a picture of YOU but I figured since it's saturday I'd put up a picture of me and taco bell (charley > charley bell > taco bell) Today is saturday! A good day for most people but for me and Charley it means we sit home and make up stuff to do till Brandon gets off work at 7. I didn't sleep very well last night so I slept in till 9! yahoo! Then I got up, ate cereal, watched an episode of Arrested Development (thank you netflix!!) Then I went and edited a wedding album (yahoo...) got bored of that and decided to do my new Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown DVD I got for christmas (butt kicker!!) Now that I'm tired from that I sat down and started to blog :) So not the most eventful day so far but it'll get there. For the rest of the day I plan on making color swab collages for my painting class (woof), finishing laundry, and working on my baby calendar! Again, I wish I knew what this baby was so I can break out my sewing machine on saturdays!!

oh well... 9 more days till our ultrasound!!

Let down your hair...

For those of you who haven't seen this movie it is a MUST SEE! 

I'm honestly THE biggest fan of disney movies ever! Once the baby gets here it will have NO short of disney /pixars to pick from. I hold disneys at VERY high expectations and sometimes I get disappointed because I expect so much! Honestly, I saw the previews for Tangled and didn't have any want to see it (I felt that way about Princess and the Frog too and I LOVE that movie) I started hearing lots of good things about Tangled so I went and saw it and LOVED it! 

The whole way home from the theatre I was GUSHING over it! It was funny and sad and ROMANTIC! The love story was just awesome!! I couldn't get over how much I like it!

The horse Maximus is the best part :)

If you have kids or are a disney diehard you MUST see this movie!

 I'll buy it the day it comes out for sure! 

Surprise!

So I'm sure a lot of you know already but since I haven't officially announced it to the blogging world yet here goes... 

We're havin a baby!! 

We're really excited and couldn't be happier! He or She will get here at the end of June right after we graduate and we'll hopefully already be moved to either St. George or SLC by that time! GOOD BYE CEDAR CITY!! 

 I'm fifteen weeks along!

I haven't been sick AT ALL! (biggest blessing ever!) Pregnancy has almost been TOO easy... makes me suspicious though... I think this is just the lords way of not feeling too bad when my labor is 50 hours long and I break my tailbone during it or something...

Heres a close up or our little Jelly Bean :) ... well now I guess our little lemon sized jelly bean... 

Up till yesterday we thought it was a boy. I don't REALLY know what changed but yesterday brandon put his hand on my ever expanding belly and said "I really think there's a girl in there meg..." Either way what ever we have this kids gonna be an athlete! My abs are SO SORE from that thing rollin around and kicking and stretching all the time. I can't feel he/she doing it yet but I can tell it's going on! We are DYING to find out if it's a boy or girl. I hate calling him/her "it" and I'm SO TIRED of saying him/her! From the start we've always called it "him" but now we just say "him" or "her" depending on the context of the sentence. Example, Brandon has been REALLY into the TV series 24 and I just can't get into it? so I say "B, do we HAVE to watch 24 tonight?... The baby doesn't like it :) she wants to watch You've got mail....." :) or "but meg, the baby NEEDS to watch the Jazz game if He's gonna be a Center Forward!" We just make it work however we feel benefits us most lol. 

I don't have a job right now. Well I do I guess? My studio is doing well enough that I can just do that now! yahoo! So Christmas break has been a little slow... I have just been ITCHING to pull out my sewing machine and get started on making stuff for the baby nursery but I don't know what colors to do or to plan on a girl or boy! I wanna make a car seat carrier cover, curtains, blankets and pillows (for my dream sofa that I don't have yet) and SO much more while I'm out of school but oh well I can find something else to do in the mean time. Anybody have an craft ideas to distract me till we find out what we're having?! I could REALLY use some! Here is my 15 week photo
