BIRTH CONTROL!

This weekend Brandon & I babysat my bosses kids while she and mike (her husband) were in hawaii with some friends! It was actually really fun! She has 3 kids Haislee (7), Grayson (5), and Ledger who is about 7 months old. (we LOVE ledger!) He was the easiest one to take care of surprisingly?

This is ledger, he's a lens cap thief & is like the baby on the Simpsons, He NEVER takes his binkee out! We took charley with us and she was EXTREMELY confused as to WHY she wasn't allowed to rough house with the thing that was about her size and crawled on the floor as well? We had to stop her from pushing ledger over a few times :) charley just started pushing him with her paw (as seen below)

These are the other 2 kids, Haislee, who is QUIET the picture poser and Grayson who has a severe speech impediment! lol It was SO HARD to understand ANYTHING this boy was sayin! It was so funny! Haislee was a perfect translator and this poor boy would have starved if she wasn't there! They are such awesome kids!!!

Here is brandon playing EVERY babysitters 2 FAVORITE games! The one kids want to play over and over and over and over ... luckily I had the camera so I wasn't asked to participate :)

Then we played legos... LOTS AND LOTS OF LEGOS! Brandon got put in charge of making just about the entire kingdom.

It was also fun to see brandons "parenting skills" come out.... 

Ledger wasn't complaining though and the kids loved him! 

For lunch we had mac & cheese (again) bacon and bean soup and bread with whip cream on it? lol it's what they wanted?

Brandon was really cute with ledger the whole weekend and was so sad when we had to leave.

Charley mostly enjoyed being out in a yard for 2 straights days and having lots of kids to chase around! 

It was fun but we are glad to be back to our newly appreciated "slow paced" lives. However brandon is having post pardum depression about not having ledger now lol


oh and p.s I work in this designer boutique thats designed all by my boss so needless to say her house is AMAZING! I took some pics but here is a pic of just her one of her living rooms. it's like a vegas lounge! So cool!

Its DONE!

Ta Da!!!! my headboard is complete!! (well it was done a while ago but I didn't have a bedspread I liked enough to take a photo of )  It only cost us 35$ and one rainy saturday to make and I love it! It makes the room feel more like a bedroom (if that makes sense?) I'm also sorry for my huge signature? I forgot to change the brush shape on photoshop and stamped it there by accident and thought it kinda looked cute so I just left it?

So i'd like to thank brandon for helping me make it and I'd like to thank charley for sitting so patiently while being my bed model :)

EASTER TIME!

For some EASTER fun we  invited Brandons cousin Pat and his girlfriend Camille over for dinner and to paint eggs! It was a lot of fun. Charley kept getting her nose up on the table so brandon decorated her in easter stickers :)

We're going to Brandons cabin for Conference so I decided to do easter a little early. I made Baskets from Brandon and Charley and Saturday morning I told brandon i'd found this note.

I made brandon look all over the house for the baskets! Both our families hid the baskets when we were little so it was fun that he'd play along with me about that. after looking all over he finally found them in the linen closet.

In charleys basket I put a new stuffed chew toy. she ripped through her old one the other day so i took it away and she started eating shoes!! I also got her a new leash because the other day we took a walk to the park and she got so excited when we got there she chewed right through the one she had on!!! In brandons I put a combination of mine and his favorite treats, candy, jerky, gushers etc. and the movie Sherlock Holmes! It was fun to do easter even though we missed being with our families :(

I decided a few weeks ago that I needed to revamp my studio for a more professional look and feel now that my work is getting more noticed. By that i mean new name, new logo, new website, new business cards! So for the last 3 weeks thats what i've been doing!

SPRING BREAK!

Brandon and I went to ARIZONA for spring break!! He has a bunch of mission buddies there and we also wanted to check out some med schools.

We left monday and drove the Hooverdam way which was WAY sweet cause i'd never seen it and it looked JUST like it does on Transformers!We also went to the Mesa Temple I guess i'd never seen it because I GASPED when i saw it! IT WAS SO PRETTY!! I could shoot weddings there for the rest of my LIFE!WENT TO A CUBS GAME!!! they summer train there so that was fun!

we went to the SWEETEST water park EVER!! (i know we are ten years old...) It was by far my favorite thing we did! WET N' WILD I suggest it strongly...

We went and checked out A.T Still and Midwestern Medical schools while we were there too, both had the most BEAUTIFUL campus!

We went shot gun shooting one night with the Meileys (mission comp and his wife) he had some pretty big guns so it was fun. after that we met up with some more friends and had a camp fire. I took this while we were watchin the sun go down. It was SUCH a nice break! I'm so used to going on spring break with 7+ girls so this was very different with just one boy but it was JUST as fun! The only problem is now i'm twice as hungry for summer and half as dedicated to finishing school :)

The Anderson Train Wreck

So for Christmas my mom asked me to take our family pictures! Naturally I was WAY excited and scouted out a cute colorful rusted building down town to shoot them at!! Then of course a blizzard came that day and shatter all plans for the colorful wall and obviously we couldn't do them outside. My mom insisted we still do them, but just inside the house... ( I was not thrilled about that one...) so we shot them in our MOST yellow room (which if you do photography you know is a mistake to bounce light off yellow... especially when your skin is already a yummy custard yellow color from the winter sun) and against a wall that was too wide for my lense but not long enough for my family to fit (thus equaling a lot of floor and head space) that and we had one VERY uncooperative 10 year old on scene as well which put us all into histarics! Needless to say it was hard to get a good shot... after the photos were taken I was so flustered and mad (when my photography doesn't turn out EXACTLY how i pictured it i get frustrated) so i put them on my computer with out even looking at them and swore i'd NEVER touch or look at those HORRIBLE pictures... well today I opened that file for the first time and I started CRACKIN up! These are our best 2 I think...

Baby Makin!

HA HA HA HA I'm sorry about the title but I just had to :)
so the other day a friend of mine told me about this hilarious website! "makemebabies.com" it takes you and your husband (or anyone for that matter) and they combined your pictures together and create what your baby is going to look like! she and her husband had been doing it all day and they all were turning out hilarious! So while I was at work I did it and (TA DA!) this is mine and brandons baby! ha ha ha ha ha they FOR SURE got the hair right on but i'm not TOTALLY sure why our baby came out half black??!!!
